RANDSBURG, CALIFORNIA November 13th, 2009
GO IV GAMER NICK C. took these photos of Randsburg, Ca about an hour before the sunset and the fire was lit and the story started. :) Below is Nick’s story about his Randsburg journey. “I met Brad and Stew at their warehouse and we hung out for a bit. Unfortunately Stew (however he did get to talk to MIH on the phone after the fire) had to work so Brad and I left. We set out on the road to go forth at about 1:30 pm, got a late lunch at BK, and got to Randsburg at 4:30 pm. We got out with the light fading fast and took some pictures of the quaint little town. We met everyone in the Joint (Darrin and friend, Katy, Maskit) and talked amongst ourselves and with the bar owner until the time of the fire. We headed down to the fire and met the MIH where Brian and his daughter joined us. MIH introduced us to Jed and he told us the story about how his great-grandfather knew GO IV. After the story we stood around and chatted some more, mostly reminiscing of the game gone by, as some people roasted marshmallows and had some fun with the MIH. The fire was then put out around 7 pm and we headed home.”
